"Snape gazed for a moment at Dumbledore, and there was revulsion and hatred etched in the harsh lines of his face. 'Severus...please...' Snape raised his wand and pointed it directly at Dumbledore. 'Avada Kedavra!" A jet of green light shot from the end of Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore squarely in the chest. Harry's scream of horror never left him; silent and unmoving, he was forced to watch as Dumbledore was blasted into the air." ~Harry Potter and the Half~Blood Prince by JK Rowling American Edition, Chapter 27 "The Lightning Struck Tower", Pgs. 595-6
And since those words were written and read on July 16, 2005, no Harry Potter fan's mind has been the same. The big topic since the ending of Half~Blood Prince after it was cherish, burned, or (in my case) thrown against the wall is this: Is Potions Master Severus Snape a good guy or a bad guy?
Was he biding his time to truly return to the Dark Lord? Did he kill Dumbledore out of pure spite? Was Albus Dumbledore's murder secretly a mercy killing? Was the Imperius Curse involved in the dealings of either side?
Speak your mind! All ideas are welcome (within moderating of course. No name calling, attacking people, etc. I WILL NOT tolerate that in the least, whether you're a supporter of the Order of the Phoenix or the Death Eaters.) We'd also liked to see drawings, pictures, icons, etc.
